  • Above the bustle of Mussoorie, Landour is a quiet, colonial-era cantonment area where time slows down and every bend smells of pine. It’s a small, walkable town — wonderfully preserved — which also means there are only a handful of places to stay. And while many properties may say “Landour,” they’re often closer to (or actually in) Mussoorie which is not quite the same vibe. Above the bustle of Mussoorie, Landour is a quiet, colonial-era cantonment area where time slows down and every bend smells of pine. It’s a small, walkable town — wonderfully preserved — which also means there are only a handful of places to stay.
